Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our services. If you don’t see your question here, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
- What areas do you serve?
- I currently offer walks in East York and the O'Connor-Parkview area of Toronto. Not sure if you're within range? Just send me a message—I'd be happy to check.
- What types of walks do you offer?
- I offer group walks for calm socializing and confidence-building, private walks for one-on-one attention, and adventure hikes in safe, natural environments (for existing clients). All outings are carefully matched by size, temperament, and energy level.
- How many dogs do you walk at once?
- Group walks range from 4-6 dogs. I carefully match pups by size, temperament, and energy level to ensure a safe, happy experience for everyone.
- What are your hours of operation?
- Walks are available Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. I do not offer evening or weekend services at this time.
- What's your cancellation policy?
- I ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. If something comes up and you need to cancel with less notice, please reach out as soon as you can.
- Are you insured and certified?
- Yes, I'm fully insured through ProFur and certified in pet first aid through Walks 'N' Wags. Your pup's safety is always a top priority.
- How do you work with reactive dogs?
- I have experience working with reactive dogs and always prioritize your dog's emotional and physical safety. During our meet & greet, we'll discuss your dog's specific triggers and comfort level to create a personalized care plan. I may recommend smaller group walks, additional space within the pack, or other adjustments to help your dog feel more secure and set up for success.
- What should I provide for the walk?
- Please have a well-fitting harness and collar. I'll bring water, treats (if approved), and waste bags. If it's rainy, a towel left by the door helps me dry off your pup before heading back inside.
- How will I know how my dog's walk went?
- You'll receive a short update after every walk with a summary of how things went—including potty breaks, mood, and any highlights. I'll also send photos so you can see the fun firsthand.
- Is a meet & greet required?
- Yes, all new clients begin with a free meet & greet. It's a relaxed way to get to know each other, talk through your dog's routine, and help your pup feel comfortable before their first walk.
